Perseverance with Purpose

For most, college is a stepping stone on ones journey to answer a simple question; "What do you want to do?" The answer to this question guides a persons choices in what classes to take in college, helps them understand the cost and duration of their education to come and almost undoubtedly shapes the friendships they'll make along the way. What it doesn't do is answer the "why" and the "how".

The harsh reality of life is success takes time; success takes hard work; and success doesn't come without setbacks. We live in an immediate gratification world and the path to success is anything but immediate. So, how do we help our future generations so they know what to do when life throws curveballs? We teach them the FIO mindset. Excuses don't solve problems. The crutch of mom, dad, or even teacher will soon vanish and the only thing left is ones ability to Figure It Out.
